"From The Land of Zinj” is the project of an Anglo-Giriama Kenyan couple based in Mombasa, Kenya, and dedicated to promoting East African coastal crafts in the West and, above all, improving the lives of East African craftspeople at home. Our organisation endeavours to give employment to particularly disadvantaged people and offers free training, with the promise of a job, to anyone in the community who is unemployed and wants to learn this traditional craft.
